This stately vase is a superb example of ancient Chinese turquoise-glazed porcelain, featuring a robust baluster form and two imposing beast-head handles with hanging rings.

The entire vessel is covered in a rich, even turquoise glaze with fine crackle, overlaid with intricate carved patterns: the neck bears overlapping petal motifs, the body is divided into panels of stylized taotie and scrolling dragon designs, and the rim and foot are finished with classic geometric borders. The two beast-head handles, each holding a movable ring, add a sense of grandeur and balance. The base bears a square seal mark in seal script, confirming its imperial origin.
